Congratulations to Samantha and Ben who got married on the Far South Coast. The top and bottom layers were chocolate mud cake and the middle was white chocolate mud cake. The black and white looked stunning as did the bride. One of my favourite cakes. 

Congratulations to Jacki and Matt who got married in Tumut on Saturday. The cake looked fabulous.

This cake is a marbled jaffa mud cake I made for Valentine's Day.  I took the marbled mud cake recipe from Woman's Day (found it on line) and added the zest and juice of 1 orange to the white mix half. I then continued with the recipe. The result was fabulous. Even better warmed up with some cream - YUM!!!. For a more orange flavour, add the zest of 2 oranges and the juice of 1. 

I had the pleasure recently of doing Archie's christening cake. The 11" white chocolate mud cake looked great with the stripes (quite the challenge) and building blocks. 

Well done to Matthew who completed the new design for the Beginner Decorating class. He cooked the cake, made the ganache then decorated the cake.  Fabulous job.

Happy birthday to the lovely Kirsty. I had great fun making this make-up case. I added real nail polish bottles to add that finishing touch to the cake.

Christmas Cupcake classes were held on the 16th December 2012. Kylie and Bronwyn from Gundagai and Leonie from Tumut joined in the fun of creating Santa, a pudding, Christmas present, Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman and a Christmas Tree.
